Dire Wolves
Dire wolves were the biggest wolves in history. They were about 5 feet long and weight about 150 pounds. The dire wolves not only had big, long and sharp teeth, they also had a bite force so strong they could crush bones. In conclusion the dire wolves were bone crushing animals.

The dire wolves are similar to wolves that are alive now aside from their size, weight, their bodies and how they hunted. The dire wolves hunted horses, ground sloths, mastodons, bisons, camels and other animals that were larger and smaller than them.

The dire wolves became extinct at the end of the Ice Age because of climate change of the Ice Age and humans. One conspiracy is that the animals the dire wolves hunted were becoming less common and they were stressed to survive. Since the dire wolves diet was 70% meat it could be possible.
